Geforce3 and text smearing

Whenever I scroll up the page, (like one of the posts here), some of the text looks to be a smeared, bold, mess.

Not all of it, just a few lines.

If I refresh the page, the text is normal.

If I scroll very, very slowly, it is OK.

The card, nor the FSB is overclocked.

No problems in 3D games.

Any ideas?

If you're using Internet Explorer, try turning off the "Smooth Scrolling" option under the Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab. It also reduces a lot of CPU usage as well as some skipping during MP3 playback.
