Well I had a Geforce 2 pro 64mb on my pc and had upgraded to a matrox g450 32mb and now I just recently got a radeon 9200 128bit 128mb card. The games I play is pretty much CS, Day of Defeat, Call of Duty and Grand Theft auto VC. I really don't see any difference in all three cards. Game play graphics is all the same. I know that the 9200 only support up to Dx8.1. I recently installed Dx9.0a on it. Does that make it worst? Can anyone comment on any of the cards. I guess my next card will probably be a ti4600 maybe in 6 months or so when I save up.

Thanks.

You need to increase the graphics detail in the games in order to see the advantages of your new vid card. Raise the resolution up a bit and turn up some of the details and post back with your results.

update your drivers and go into "settings" or "video" or something to that effect. up your resolution. then start upping other things. if you other options up decently high, turn on 2xAA (2x Anti Aliasing). ull notice a difference. and u "upgraded to a matrox?!" u really should read more on graphics cards so u dont blow ur cash as much.

matrox is a good card, wat are u on about? matrox rips a gforce2 mx ne day... =) 64mb version included, matrox is unrivalled in 2d graphics, sharpest card on the market 😛

Like Ben says you need to start cranking those details to take advantage of your faster card(s).

Also if your CPU/platform is slow then you won't see the framerate increase that you will from a fast CPU/platform.
