Anand did a review of this here. There really doesn't seem to be too much of a difference between the 32 and 64mb versions.

yeah everything ive read shows the 64mb has very little if any performance over the 32mb, its basically marketing.

ok, but what if i overclocked it? (described here)
here's what i'm thinking.. when overclocked the mx 32mb is comparable to the gts 32mb. the mx400 64mb comes with a core already at 200mhz which is equal to that of the gts. so if i overclocked the memory on the mx400 64mb, it should be pretty close to a gts 64mb. lemme know what u all think

Right now even uder 1600x1200x32 the difference between 32MB and 64MB is extremely minimal and at any lower resolutions/color depths the difference is virtually non-existant. Even overclocked the GF2MX is still far below the performance levels offered by a GF2 GTS.

Due to memory bandwidth limitations the 200MHz core clock on the MX 400 is agin offering virtually no performance boost over the regular MX cards.

I have to agree with the others, a 32MB GF2 GTS is a far better buy then a 64MB MX card, even assuming your able to overclock it heavily beyond spec.

the original geforce DDR .25 mciron (i.e. asus v6800) 32mb card is far faster than a 64mb geforce MX at any resolution in any program.

any time of the day anywhere - anyway, any way...
