GeForce2 Ultra vs. ATI Radeon AIW

Now I'm using a GF2 Ultra card and I'm happy with the performance and compability. There's a friend of mine that really wants to get rid of his ATI Radeon AIW and would sell it for 60$. I really like the features of the ATI card (TV tuner, VIVO..) - are the ATI drivers ok now and how is the 3d performance compared to the Ultra?

The 3D performance is inferior, but still decent.

The GF2 Ultra will be faster in games but the Radeon will look better in 2d and 3d. So it depends on what you consider more important, speed of quality. Personally, I choose quality.

Keep your Ultra... the Radeon may have a lil more 2d quality..but you are going to need that speed at a later time... save the 60 bucs for awhile... then u can by even a newer video card..

I would just keep the GF2 Ultra. Unless VIVO and TV Tuners are important to you. You will lose a significant amount of performance though.

Geforce 2 Ultra is the early 70's muscle car of today....not exactly pretty but PLENTY of horses...
