GeForce2 Ultra or GeForce3

I'm in the market for a new graphics card,

I've currently got a GeForce DDR 32Mb, so I want something worth upgrading to. My only thoughts are either a GeForce2 Ultra or a GeForce3.

What is the main difference, is it worth spending a load more for a GeForce3 when the GeForce2 Ultra is still a good powerful card.

I'm probably not going to get a big brand, just a budget one is surficent for me.

Any one got any idea's?

Both are fast cards and will be a significant step up from what you have now. The GF3 has some new features over the GF2U but note that at this time they are not being utilized. It's a question of a) money and b) how long you intend to keep card. If you intend to keep it a year both cards will last you but the GF3 will last you longer as the games arrive which support it's new features (the GF2U will start to choke). If you can stretch to it you might as well get the GF3...
