geforce2 ultra now or G3 later?

i am trying to decide which one i should get. should i get a G2 ultra or just get a G3 when the price lowers? is that THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE between then? any imput will be appreciated.

Geforce 3. You will be assuring yourself of extra future proofing.

In current games their is not alot in it, BUT unreal II and doom 3 will run alot better with a g3. I would personally wait until september and see what the competition does for the graphics card scene.

GF3 is better....this is for sure but GF2 Ultra is the best in GF2 family and is works perfectly on every game I played.The price of the Ultra around 200-250 but if u have extra 100 bucks,u may get the GF3.Reconsider coz if u decide GF3,it's better wait for a moment coz the price will be goin down in around 2 months time.

If your spending that much for a card get the GF3. No reason to buy old tech for that much when you can spend a bit more and go ahead and get at least a more future proof card.

I would go for the G3 just because of the future games that your hardware could handle. Also the difference in price isn't that great, so I say go g3.
