What is the difference between the Hercules 3D Prophet II Ultra and the Creative Labs 3D Blaster Annihilator2 Ultra?

They have the same memory/core. The only difference is brand name and frame rates really won't differ much between the two. If one offers TV out that may be the only difference, if the other doesn't but you should research that. Also one of the two may offer a better software package if you aren't buying an OEM card.

I would get whichever one is cheaper. I personally have a Hercules Ultra, but that was the only option when I purchased. Both are very good video card!

They are the same Spec wise... But I would go with the Guillimot... The reason... Creative isn't going to make video boards anymore... And just try to get an RMA in say 2 1/2 years...

Is anyone going to be running a GF2 in 2 1/2 years.....2 1/2 years ago TNT1's weren't even around.....lol.

Anyhow, get the cheapest Ultra ya can find......leadtek is a good choice for cheap.

Yeah, but a guy on this forum trying to pick an ULTRA already, probably will be upgrading his video card in 2 year, particularly if it is not working proper at that time.
