Geforce2 TV-out quality?

what's the quality on the geforce2 gts 32mb tv-out card?

what is it compared to a voodoo3-3000 which also has tv-out?

I have a Geforce 2 GTS 64MB, and I can tell you that the quality isn't that great. At 800x600, almost all text is unreadable, and 640x480 isn't much better.

I also ran Half Life at 640x480 and, although it wasn't bad, the screen was a little too dark for me (even after gamma correction).
 
It really depends on what you use it for. Word processing sucks, but outputting VCD's and DVD's - oh, boy!

Another excellent output - Winamp visual plug-ins!

Games are so-so, there's a noticeable difference between OpenGL games and others (Unreal vs. Quake 3 vs. Soldier of Fortune).

Overall, still, if you have a good TV, you'll be able to get some decent picture. I don't know about Voodoo3, but the thing is that TV resolution must be 800x600, which cuts performance anyway.
