Geforce2 Ti weirdness. Overheating, loose fitting slot connection, or just a dying card?

I can tell you that it's not from overclocking, or BIOS modification. First, Windows starts getting little vertical lines all over it, then the system locks. When I reset, some characters on the POST screen have a bit of orange in them; the BIOS setup screen looks like this:

Sometimes shutting down and reseating the card works. This time it did not. But it did go away - shortly after I took that picture, the strange characters just started vanishing from the screen. Then it acted normal.
Is this Geforce2 Ti card just on its way out? It's got an active cooler, the fan is spinning, and the heatsink itself is hot.

i have that problem on my gf2pro. The lines are messed up, artifacts are showing up in the post and bios screen. When i felt the heatsink, it was blazing hotter than i can remember, even the ram was too hot to hold.

personally i have no idea whats happening to it.
