GeForce2 OC

The dinky little fan on my GeForce2 MX400 (I know, I know...) died, I think it was a ~20mm and it was only about 1/2 inch thick. Not exactly sure, but it was really small and the screws to secure it onto the heatsink were no bigger than a grain of rice! I slapped on an oversized 40mm fan and the heatsink is much cooler than it was before. So I got coolbits and I want to see how far this thing can go..

core clock 200Mhz
mem freq is 334Mhz

I can't seem to find a way to get temps for the gfx core, anyone know of a program? I'm on a Tyan Tomcat i815e mobo with 512mb pc-133.. yeah its old... I'm not going to upgrade until beginning of next year so I gotta live with what I have 😱

Dont worry about the temps. Just bump up in small increments and then test w/ 3dmark and some of your favorite games for a few hours. I dont think a card that was considered to be that big of a value would have came with a thermal diode anyways.

LOL I just ran 3DMark 2001SE and 3DMark03, results are @ stock speeds

3DMark2001 SE: 1,309 Marks

3DMark03: "your card can only support 1 of 4 tests" for that one test... 45 3DMarks!!!

Man, thats blazingly fast!.... I just thought I would post these since it was so funny. Ill OC later, I have a bunch of errands to do. I'll post the results later! Maybe if I'm lucky I can get an extra 10 marks in 3Dmark01!
