GA-81EX motherboard manual says: When installing AGP card,
please make sure the following notice is fully understood and
practiced. If your AGP card has AGP 4X notch, which mine does
please make sure your AGP card is AGP 4X (1.5V).
Video card is a eVGA GeForce2 MX200. Box says AGP 4X/2X/1X
but no mention of voltage on box, in manual, or on card.
There is a jumper on the board, J3 but no connector. No jumper
settings in manual either.
Motherboard manual says 2X(3.3V) will burn and damage the
board. I'm just guessing here but I'm thinking a burnt $132.00
motherboard is a BAD THING. I'd call eVGA but their closed right
now. Anyone have any clues????? Thanks in advance.
