GeForce2 MX vs. ATI Radeon SDR

I'm building a new Athlon 800 system, and I want good speed and quality in games. The two main cards I'm looking at are the GeForce2 MX and the Radeon 32 SDR. Which card do you people think is better for me? I'll play some Q3, UT, and NFS. Might the Radeon be a better longterm choice since it has some DX8 features among other things? If you recommend the GeForce2 MX, what is a good value brand to get based on your past experience?

I would go for radeon more features = better image quality. Radeon also has good 2d quality(people say nVIDIA 2d quality sux) and it probably has a better 3d image quality also.

it may be somewhat of a difficult decision. AS far as longterm chioces, both cards are fine, but lackign in bandwidth, so either will not be the ideal long term solution. If I were to go with a Radeon, I'd gt a DDR version, if not I'd just stick with a Geforce MX. there are a lot of mx cards out there, but Asus of Guillemot would be a safe bet. A lot of smaller companies are making them too, I've read good things about the MSI Mx card.
