Hello all!

I just bought a MagicVideo 3D MX AGP (Nvidia GeForce2 MX) to install in my system.

I have an old PII and removed the old video card and put the new one, I believe I have AGP slot as my new AGP card fits OK, and my old vidcard says AGP on the monitor connector.

When I first turn the PC it says GeForce 2MX 32Mb V3.00.00 and some other stuff, after that goes tru the normal checks , and when I get to the windows splash the PC locks, it begins flickering and changing colors. The only way to stop it is to unplug the power cord.

The same happens on the BIOS, and I noticed that it takes longer to fail if I leave it cool for a while.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong, If you could shed some light on this I will really appreciate it

Thanks
Sneax

Put the old Video card back in, boot it up, and change the video card in properties to standard PCI VGA card. Shut down, remove the old video card, install the new card, reboot and install the correct drivers.
