I have a Leadtek Geforce2 MX graphic card which causes Winxp to crash. Installing the newest Nvidia driver didn't fix the problem. Please help.

Why do you think the card is causing xp tp crash? Have you checked in safe mode, in the device manager for duplicate monitors or video cards? I set up a pc for my dad with the same card and XP is workiing fine for him and hasn't crashed once (on its own). Going to need more info though in order to give you some answers.

The XP error-reporting application reported the following, "...........Geforce 2 MX 200/400 may have caused instability in operating system............."

Try different drivers. I've had problems with XP crashing with various versions of the detonater driver.

I would suggest 21.85 :)

I have the same problem with a Geforce2 MX200 Jaton. I have the problem using XP's native drivers, Jaton's latest, and Nvidia's latest. So far the driver I use hasn't made any difference. If anyone finds a cure for this I sure would love to hear how.

I cured my problem. I turned the refresh rate up and that did it. No more error messages.
