Geforce2 MX and ASUS P2B

I just installed a Hercules Geforce2 MX on a ASUS P2B. I cannot adjust my display prperties. Everytime I try it gives me the restart windows messages. Then upon restart I get a blank screen when Windows tries to load. Arrrrrrrrrgghh.
Are there supposed to be settings I can adjust through the Herceules or Nvidia software?
