GeForce2 GTS: lower benchmarks with new drivers?!?!

which drivers provide the best benchmark?

i had 6500 at 1152x864,16bit, but now it's at 5500.
i tried intalling the detonator drivers and it set me to 5500. i also reinstalled the oem leadtek, and it's still 5500. what's going on?

is there something i need to redo that i overlooked? please help. thanks

Did you completely uninstall the reference drivers by going into Control Panel's Add/Remove section. Try this, and then reboot and do a fresh install of the drivers.
