GeForce2 GTS and Windows 2K

Well, I have an ASUS CUSL2-C and just tried installing Windows 2K with DirectX 8. I used the latest NVidia Detonator 2 drivers (631). My DirectX scores in WIndows 2K are so much lower than my scores in Windows ME. I have installed the lastest Intel 815 chipset drivers which helped a bit but I still get very sluggish scores with 3DMark and Unreal Tournament.

Open GL seemed fine (Quake 3 for instance).

Any ideas or similar experiences? I have read that alot of people have been getting their GeFOrce 2 GTS scores to be equivalent to their WIndows ME scores.
