GeForce2 GTS 32mb

Are the lower priced GeForce2 32mb video cards from Inno3d and MSI of the same quality as the ASUS V7700, or what benefits afford $40.00+ additional? Opinions wanted please.

look your better off buying a leadtek or an elsa card. They have much better 2D then the Asus or the msi or the innovision. Plus they are cheaper( the leadtek is super cheap and it overclocks great!!!).

Anyone else have some suggestions and tips what to get or is leadtek or elsa the obvious choice?

I have just installed the MSI GF2 GTS 32MB DDR card. I appears to be a well built card and so far I have had no problems. I really do not need this much card. I ungraded from a TNT2 M64 and frankly have not seen a lot of difference. I may be processor limited now (Cel 400MHz). I have no complaints about the 2d quality, the card seems to come up quickly and runs smooth. I loaded American McGees Alice and could not see or feel any irregulatities it ran smooth as silk. I have no plans on Overclocking, it may be fun to tinker with it but since I have all the speed I need I put a high value on stabiliy. I like to run my machines not troubleshoot and repair.

Off the top of my head, I think the Asus V7700 has better cooling than the other brands... so it may be better for overclocking purposes...

Also, the Asus V7700 deluxe is the only GeForce GTS card that offers Video In/Out... but that one is much more expensive...
