I just got this video card, it plays 2D games fine and some demos and some benchmarks in 3Dmark 2000. All 3D games like Rainbo Six and Motocross Madness 2 just freeze up after loading the game and some times it will freeze up before the title screen with just a black screen. Can any one tell me whats wrong? Thkanks 🙂
 
Do these games give you a choice between OpenGL and D3D? You might want to try one then the other and see what happens.
You might have some of your old video card drivers trying to run 3D apps. as well. Make sure all your old video card drivers have been removed. Also boot into safe mode and look in the Device Manager and see if you still show your old video card there as well and remove it.

Thanks for the info guys!! Is there any way to change to 1xAGP with out going into the bios? My bios is password protected and i don't know what it is (long story).
 
My card is a OEM video card manufactured by Creative Labs for Nvidia! Should I try useing Creative drivers? I've just been useing the drivers off nVidias site.
 
Removing the battery for a few seconds on your mobo sometimes takes off the password protect function. Or find the jumper for reseting the bios back to defaults.
