Setup has detected an incompatibility between your video card & computer's mainboard. Because of this, your computer may not start up after the upgrade. Contact the manufacturer of your hardware for technical assistance

I have a soyo sy-k7vem+ motherboard, with amd duron 1Ghz, 312mgs of ram 40 gig hard drive.

If you can make it work, you will have to review the settings in your Bios. Make sure it is set to PCI, not AGP. Turn off Fastwrites, try 2X instead of 4X, disable Video RAM cacheable and System Bios cacheable. Perhaps a different pci slot, remove you soundcard, modem or any other pci/isa card you don't need to boot with. It is difficult to trouble shoot your Bios, as I am not familiar with it.
