I asked this question in General, but let me make it more focussed here:
Has anybody successfully run a GF/GF2 series card in a 440BX motherboard? If so, what CPU were you using? The 440BX supports only AGP 1.0 and the GF2 calls for AGP 2.0, but it sounds they might work together (there are plenty of BX/GF2 results in MadOnion's ORB). However, it sounds like if you are using a Celeron-II CPU in an LX board with a GF2, you might run into problems. But that's LX...I need to know about BX even though both are AGP 1.0.
I'm trying to have things sorted out...I know some of you still are using or have used BX boards.
