GEforce2-400 64 agp problem

I have 4 computers that have a GEforce2-400 agp with 64 meg ram running Win98SE and they lock up/freeze, etc every so often. These are P4 1.8 256meg ram computers.

I upgraded to the latest driver, and now it seems to lose my driver settings every so often. I usually run them at 1024/768 and it seems to defult back to 800/600 on its own upon startup, but only occasionally.

Is this a known problem?

Is there a better video card out there to use?

I plan to change to XP PRO shortly (on all 4 identical systems and upgrading to 512mb ram) which would use a different driver, would that possibly help without replacing the cards.
