I'm confused (normal). What is the "Rankings" of the GeForce cards? I assume the bottom is the GeForce256 and top is the GeForce3 -- but what about the others (GeForce DDR, GeForce MX, GeForce 400 Mx, and the multitude of others)?

Here goes, from slowest to fastest.

Geforce2 MX 200
Geforce 256 SDR
Geforce2 MX
Geforce2 MX 400
Geforce 256 DDR
Geforce2 GTS
Geforce2 GTS PRO
Geforce2 GTS ULTRA
Geforce3

There, I'm all geforced out. Please forgive me if something's not quite ranked high enough.

Ok, the GeForce 256 and 256 DDR were the first GeForce chips to come out and generally at the bottom of the line.

Then there was a core change to the GeForce 2 core. The following products are GF2 based products, from worst to best.

GF2 MX
GF2 MX 200
GF2 MX 400
GF2 (This is the base model and the first to be introduced using the GF2 core)
GF2 Pro
GF2 Ultra

Then the GF3 core came around. There is only one chip based on the GF3 core, the GeForce 3 (now doesn't that suprise you?)

I think that should answer your question.

EDIT: Darn, all that typing for someone to beat me to the first reply. Life's tough.

I think nj's got it. I don't think the normal MX is slower than the MX 200. And the Geforce 256 DDR is still a great performer, beating the MX 400 in some tests...
