GeForce Win ME Lockups HHEELLPP PLEASE!!

When running a DivX movie, running a game, or if i push my PC, it just locks up.
I updated the VIA Drivers, i am using 6.35 Det's - most stable, and i have updated to WW BIOS.
I am totally lost, please help.

Specs :
Athlon 1ghz - 128 MB Mushkin PC133 CAS 2 - SB Live 1024 - Geforce 2 64MB Hercules - Win ME

My computer freezes whenever I play games too, someone on this forum told me to get better cooling for my video card and so I just bought a kit from 2cooltek.com. I'll let you know once i get it and try it out to see if that's the problem. My setup is: Asus CUSL2, PIII700, 448mb, Geforce 2 GTS, SB Live running Win ME. If anyone else has any more suggestions please post! Thanks.

I'm also have a problem with a geforce card. I'm not saying that heat can't be the cause but I have opened the case and placed a 16in fan on high blowing right into it. The crashes seem random (sometimes I can run a 3D game for hours without a problem/other times it will only run for a few minutes before shutting down)but if it happens once the length time before it crashes shortens if I keep trying to play the same game,but if I switch to a differnet game it will play fine. It only happens with two games that I have(Mech 4,Diablo 2).As a matter of fact it all started when I loaded mech 4(directx 8.0)is diablo a directx 8 game to? Maybe that has something to do with it?
