Geforce VS Quadro for Media Playback Performance?

I know that GeForce cards are more specialized for DirectX and will therefore perform better in a program like WMP10, which seems to revolve around DirectX, but i was wondering how a quadro fx 4000 and up would perform in WMP10. Would it still be very fast?

How can that be? Quadros revolve around OpenGL and have a little bit of DirectX implementation, while GeForce cards are the opposite. And so, if WMP10 uses DirectX for all its renderings, then that means that the GeForce card will deliver a much better performance than the Quadro. Assuming of course that we are comparing the top quadro and the top geforce.

And the GeForce also has higher core clock speeds and higher memory clock speeds, and thus a higher bandwidth or fill rate.

QFT.

You should see no discernible difference between the two with what you're talking about.

Ok. I believe you guys. But you know how it is. Wanting a second say to feel reassured.

I can only therefore re-reply by saying 'thank you'. Your replies have helped me out.
