If this is old new, then forgive me, but:
From what I gather, ELSA is now selling the NVIDIA Personal Cinema as a stand-alone option for all Gladiac cards. All the info is here. Notice what it says is included under 'hardware': "S-video composite signal adapter and Slot plate(mounting bracket)". So basically, any GeForce with TV-out should be able to have this modification done... as long as you can find a bracket that fits. The price is right, too at only $40. It's intersting, though, that nothing is mentioned about the PC's remote control... maybe that's why this model is so cheap?

Hmm, at second look the Philips encoder/decoder chip ID#s don't match with those in the Personal Cinema. Still, what's throwing me is the fact the the module supports PAL and NTSC. Wouldn't that imply that you can watch TV on it?

They have been available for about a year! you can also just get a video out module. They will fir on any visiontek based card e.g. elsa, asus creative and others. I have one but the problem is that the driver support is very poor.

I had the Gladiac VIVO module, worked okay on my Elsa Gladiac MX, well I never got to test the TV-Out but the Video-In was ok, not great quality mind you coming from VHS scart socket.

It was the Philips based encoder. I bought a Creative GTS based card and the box and their site showed it had the right connectors for me to plug the module into but I opened it and it didn't, it was so cheap at the time that I didn't make much fuss.
