GeForce Upgrade?

I used Madonion.com's Performance Analyzer to compare my rig to other benchmarks for nvidia's GeForce line of video cards. My current rig configuration is as follows:

1.0 GHz AMD Athlon TBird
384 MB PC133 SDRAM
Voodoo5 5500 64MB PCI Video Card

The Performance Analyzer shows a 306% increase in performance if I upgraded to a GeForce3 card, while a 406% increase from a GeForce4 Ti4600 card. I would like to get a GeForce3 Ti200 as an upgrade.

My questions are, what will I notice from a 306% increase in performance? Would it be that much to warrant a video card upgrade if I play games like Madden NFL 2002 and NHL 2002?

Hey, I'd suggest an ATI Radeon 8500. It performs at level with the GeForce 3 Ti 500 and is cheaper than the Ti 200. It provides DX8 support and all that. I don't know about those games but if you want to see reviews for the card you can look here at AnandTech or at Tom's Hardware. Tom's Hardware is at... www.tomshardware.com just so you know.

I would also have to say 8500, it's the price/performance leader right now IMHO. Check rage3d.com for more in depth commentary.
