GeForce Ti200 fan problem

Hello Everyone,

Recently my GeForce Ti200 64mb videocard fan has started to spin then slow down then spin then slow down ...over and over again. It doesnt do it constantly, it will run fine for a while then start to slow. When its spinning slow it makes a weird noise like perheps the motor is still trying to get it to spin at a constant speed but can't. It has not caused any overheating problems or reset problems. Its just kind of annoying and i think may lead to some problem in the future.

What should i do? I think cleaning it would make a difference but i'm unsure how to do that without messing anything up. Thanks for any help.

That's actually not a good idea. If you blow compressed air into the far, and make it spin faster than it is supposed to, you will wreck the bearings, which in the end screws up the fan even more than it was in the first place. If it's hurting the performance of the card, then get an orb. Not hard to install and pretty cheap.
