It shouldn't effect performance, but if you wanna make sure check out your bios and see if you can change the settings there.

first of all, are there any free IRQ's when you right click my computer, go to properties, then go to devices manager, then double click computer. in that window that comes up, are there all 0 to 15 IRQ's taken? are you using your Serial ports? Parallel port? USB ports? if not on either of those, disable them in the BIOS, just in case you need them.

now, when you go into the BIOS, go to PnP PCI setup, and tell me how many PCI devices it allows you to configure (should be right below the option for PnP compatible OS installed). if you have MORE cards then that list of devices in the BIOS, then you will be forced to share IRQ's even IF you have left overs. if NOT, then you should be able to free up IRQs either through the BIOS, or through windows.
