I just got this new workstation at work, a real beast (dual 2Ghz w/ 1GB RAM and the best Quadro card), and I was really excited to use my two 19 inch monitors (really handy for programming). Well, I switched the second monitor off after 5 minutes, the flickering was just unsustainable.
It seems that nView will only allow you to run the second monitor at 60Hz refresh rate?!?!? WTF is that useful for??? please tell me I missed something! no one can work with a monitor flickering like that. The primary monitor runs no problem at 85Hz.

PBKAC?

My GeForce2MX feeds both of my 17" CRTs at 85Hz with the 42.01 drivers. Heck, I don't think I've had any similar problems with TwinView/nView since 18.xx series days.

There's got to be a way to fix it. You sure you didn't miss anything. A few engineers at work have dual monitors with Quadro cards and they run both at 75Hz.

It's probably a driver issue then, maybe that workstation has some old drivers installed. I'll have to try to get some new ones and see if it fixes the problem.
