I downloaded the latest 12.41 Nvidia drivers and edited my registry using the below procedure, but the Clock Frequency (Hardware) overclocking tab has not appeared under Display Properties\Advanced\Geforce2 GTS\Additional Properties on my Desktop. Help, suggestions needed.

1. Open the key, [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\.
2. Under the NVTWEAK key add a new DWORD value with the name "CoolBits".
3. Double click on CoolBits in the right hand pane and set the value to 3 with a hexadecimal base.
4. Reboot.

I just browsed through the video forum and it looks like Brian48 may have the answer. According to Brian, Nvidia has disabled Coolbits in vers 12.41. If you download a beta vers 12.40 and replace the nvcpl.dll file in the Windows\System directory with the vers 12.40 nvcpl.dll file the tab should appear. I'll give it a try. Will this work with previous versions also?

Thanks Brian.

Tried it and it works.
Vers 12.40 can be downloaded from guru3d.
