GeForce MX versus GF2

I guess the real question is how much do you want/have to spend? The GF2 would give the best performance overclocked or not, but it would put a rather large dent in you wallet. The GF2 MX is about $120 and it performs about the same as a GeForce256 DDR when overclocked to around 200/200. It just depends on weather or not you want to shell out $300 or $120 for a new video card. :)

at 1024x768 32bit in quake3, the MX(overclocked) is nowhere near as fast as Geforce DDR(overclocked)

Personally, I think MX is a much better buy cause I play mostly at 1024x768 or below, so MX will perform like 95% of a GF2. Thats just me cause I have a 17", you people who plays high res will probably appreciate GF2's raw power and memory bandwidth.
