GeForce MX - Strange screen shifting problems...

I have a Sparkle GeForce II MX 32Mb TV-OUT and get strange screen shifting problems when playing some games. Firstly since swapping to this card from my Voodoo3 3000, the screen no longer fills my monitor, there is a 1cm gap on the right and left that I can stretch into. But the main problem is when I load some games (Formula One Racing Champioship being the most annoying), the screen shifts horribly to the right and the resolution seems to change. I think it may have something to do with the refresh rate it is trying to play in, but I cannot find anywhere that allows me to select a refresh rate for each resolution. I used to use a util called V3Overclocker for my Voodoo which allowed me to do this. Is there a similar utility for my GeForce MX?

Also what detonator drivers will work best with my GeForce MX? I am using Detonator 12.00, but since I am new to this NVidia malarky, I am not sure if I am using the right ones.

ThanX for any help.
