Basically I'm just only looking to get a gfx card equivelant to an integrated onboard GeForce4 MX GPU in nForce2 IGP mobos..

This is because I'm getting an nForce250Gb based mobo and none of these chipsets come with onboard gfx, this system is not meant to be a gaming rig

yep

just rember, masshass81, that the IGP is taking RAM from the system instead of having dedicated like the MX440 (although the amount it takes is adjustable. So the MX440 will perform better than its IGP equivalent. (if ram is a problem)

Aside from the fact that equipping an nF3 250GB/A64 system as "non-gaming" is heresy to the highest degree and punishable by forced Celeron usage for a six-month period ... :Q

... Why not just score a cheap used AGP card from FS/T? I'm sure you can find a Rage or earlier gF chipset for about ten bucks. :p

lol sorry, its non-gaming =( but I want a system that has good potential for future upgrades, its just for now I need a budget system with a good base. Since getting an athlonxp doesnt leave much headroom to upgrade, it only goes up to 3200+, but socket 754 for not that much more money, I will be able to upgrade to 3700+ in the future without having to buy a new mobo.

Thanks for the info, you guys are extremely helpful =D
