Finally figured out what was freezing my computer after about an hour of running time. Wonderful Win98SE assigned the same IRQ to my GeForce card and my network card. After reseating the network card in a different slot and rebooting, BINGO! rock solid no lockups for a full week now. Not to mention my cable modem is now about 4 times faster than it was.😀 Good deal!Now my P3650@866 is soaring. Actually found the remedy here http://www.geforcefaq.com/ Good info
 
I've tried to advise people to disable "Plug & Play OS" in their BIOSs. When set to enabled, Windows 9x has been known to place as many as 4 devices on one IRQ... After being set to disabled, each device was in most cases partitioned out to its own IRQ.
