I want to put better cooling on my GeForce III. I will apply all of the stuff wiht AS adhesive but I dont know what you use on my GF3. I dont think a blorb will work on it. I want to put high quality ramsinks and a high qaulity GPU cooler. I am doing this becasue i have the leadtek brand and the gpu cooler sits right on top ram sinks defeating their prupose. What knid of cooling setup would you recoment. under 30 total if possible.

Thanks

The Blorb is good. I would try checking if the Blorb's replacement is available, the newer Oorb (Orange Orb) from Thermaltake. This redesign covers the chipset better b/c of it being fabbed from a single piece of Al. Its profile is shorter than the Blorb w/c means it won't block the PCI slot directly under it. Check Thermaltake's site for the pics and info.

The ramsinks that are also from Thermaltake look to be decent quality. Anodized blue Al can be used for RDRAM or for video memory. The color coordination is gonna blow (though)...orange orb with blue ramsinks on a green pcb.

[Update]

My mistake, it's not listed in TT's site. Here's a review of it where I got the initial info:

If you dont mind taking up PCI Slots, i'd recommend going out and getting a Coolermaster S370 or a cheap Socket A or S370 heatsink for CPU's. They'd definately dissipate the heat fine. As for Ramsinks, not sure what i'd recommend but the ones from 2cooltek would work fine probably.
