Depends on the crash. If the game crashes to desktop due to an Nvidia driver error, it is coming from the card. If it is a BSOD, it is likely, something else.

How did you explain me this? Using 353.06 drivers i have driver crashes in 3dmark 11 demo. Using 353.38 hotfix i dont have any single crash.

So its a card or driver issue? You said : "If the game crashes to desktop due to an Nvidia driver error, it is coming from the card. " I am using stock 980 ti

I know this doesn't add much; but, even at stock that hotfix did help my stability as well. Though 980 and 980ti may be apples/oranges for all I know. But, given that after each crash the audio coming from my hdmi to my TV through the vid card died without a restart, I think its safe to assume the gfx had SOME factor in the crashing.

After reading his post much more carefully, I believe he is saying outright BSOD is likely something other than the card. I never once had an outright BSOD, just many crashes of programs and semi-hardlocks that required restarts. Anyway, I'm starting to get in over my knowledge level so I'll let the big boys try to help you sort any remaining issues.

Noticed, at least for me, these drivers are not linked through the main page driver finder. Latest it keeps showing is the WHQL 353.30 even when set to "show betas."

Probably because they're not a beta release. They're a specific update for a hotfix.
