Well atleast drop the price on the Titan to 780 price, then release a new Titan with 2880 cores. 192 cores more. Thats pathetic.

They aren't there to give you free stuff or sell products as cheap as possible and overlap existing products because you wish they would. A technology CEO isn't really maximizing his profit when it takes 5 years for his older products to become obsolete due to lack of major improvements.

Back in the late 90's, you were lucky to get 2 years of useful lifespan out of a $300 video card. Now that's more than twice that.

Does anyone thing the 780ti will just replace the current 780? With the leaked specs, it doesn't seem like a real improvement. Fitting in the narrow margin between the Titan and the 780 is going to come at the cost of both of those markets.

A 780Ti with 2880 cores and 7ghz memory would have been something. It probably would have consistently beat the 290X.
