GeForce GTX 660 Ti and Max Payne 3 Settings

I just installed my new GeForce GTX 660 Ti video card and I am playing various games to see how it runs. Most of my games don't really push it (L4D2, DeadSpace2, Dirt3). I have Max Payne 3 and was wondering what settings would work optimally for my system. I want high frame rate but nice quality too. I found this web site helpful:
http://www.geforce.com/optimize/guides/max-payne-3-tweak-guide#1

Currently, I am running my system using these settings:

EXCEPT, my resolution is 1920x1080.

Any recommendations on settings would be appreciated. Particularly if you have a GeForce GTX 660 Ti!

Also, do you have any suggestions on the Nvidia control panel settings. I think the default is "Use the advanced 3D image settings".

I don't think HDAO adds enough to image quality to be worth it. I'd also turn AA to 2X or keep to FXAA, the performance hit from AA is pretty substantial.

I strongly recommend that you use FXAA Very High and shut off MSAA. If you use MSAA, your card will be averaging around 35fps, which is playable but not optimal. While 4x MSAA is a bit better than FXAA, the performance hit is tremendous, and you'll notice that much more than the slightly cleaner image. Everything else should be set at very high, including shadows.

Using FXAA, you'll probably be above 60fps, and in that case, I strongly recommend the use of Adaptive Vsync in the Nvidia control panel.

For more info on MSAA vs. FXAA, see this article: http://www.geforce.com/optimize/guides/max-payne-3-benchmarked-in-a-new-york-minute#2

One of things I always notice about FXAA is its often quite blurry. It does Anti alias well for its cost but it also impacts the rest of the image. MSAA has a lot impact on the overall image. But if you can't afford the performance hit of MSAA then FXAA is better than nothing normally.

Agreed! I hate the FXAA blurriness. I usually try to run at least 2XMSAA in all games if I can.

You could give SweetFX and its SMAA a try. No blur and no performance hit, quality of FXAA.
