Not sure if VideoCardz.com is a reliable source. But they some how got a hold of leaked specifications for the GTX 660Ti and GTX 670. The cards are expected to be released some time next week (Around May 10, 2012.

Here is the link:

GTX 660Ti = $249

GTX 670 = $399

EDIT: UPDATE - Andrew Gibson from overclockers.uk stated they are set to released in Q3 2012 (6 months away)

The news from overclockers is that the 660ti isn't due till Q3.

I am very curious to see what ends up being true.

680 will be 15-20% faster than 670
670 will be about 15-20% faster than 660 ti

670 = 0.85 of 680
660 ti = 0.85 of 670
660 ti = 70-75% of 680 so 680 will be 35-45% faster than 660ti so 660 ti will be marginally faster than 570 or btw a 570 and 580

I don't know how you know all of this but I hope it's true. If the 660 is $250, that is.

If true, its interesting that even the 660 Ti is simply a harvested 680. I would have thought they would create a special die for it. Maybe there are yield problems?

660Ti looks like a meh chip to me.It will have issues with memory bandwidth.

but at least it will be 1.5gb just like you want...:p

and 144 GB/sec memory bandwidth will not really be an issue at all on a card like that at all. its probably only going to be about 10% faster than a gtx570 and that card has 152 GB/sec which was plenty.

Just ordered a 7850 after hearing 660ti not for 6 months and that 670 will be $399. Would have definitely waited for 670 at $350 price.

A little off topic but I would prefer if Nvidia went back to the 4xx series generation names. It made more sense when the GTX 465 was a cut down GTX 480 instead of this Ti nonsense. Looking back at the GTX 560Ti 448 Core, I don't see why they did not use a GTX 565 nomenclature.

But, how DARE YOU claim that TSMC is having yield problems! TSMC never has yield problems! *sarcasm*
