Now at dell you can choose between the X1400, 7800, and the 7900 GS. I might actually get the Dell E1705 full loaded with the 7900 GS

That looks like 7800GT specs, not too bad. How much does the upgrade run?

It's not the 7800 GS, it's the 7900 Go GS. The standard 7800 Go has 16 pp + 6 vertex shaders vs. 20 pp + 7 vertex shaders at .09u on the 7900 Go GS. I sent my E1705 with the 7800 go back today and re-ordered this today:
