i just bought an HP Pavilion a couple weeks ago with Geforce Go 7400 128Mb. I just looked at the display properties in Windows XP MCE and it shows 256Mb for graphics. is there something wrong with my computer or did HP screw up and give me a GPU with more memory??

WOW. i didn't know that. do all gpu's for laptops utilize "shared RAM" using the sysem memory? does this also apply to desktop gpu's - do they use "shared RAM"?
