GeForce FX (NV30) Questions

We have all seen the specs, but no one has said is this new card gonna be 128MB or are they gonna make the bump up to 256MB. Sure its all speculation, but I would fork over what ever they wanted for a 256 MB card. Anyone heard anything?

Question is, do games need that much memory for textures? If they don't, we don't need cards with 256MBs. Plus, since we're talking about DDRII here, that would only up the card's price to $599+.

IIRC, both Anand and Tom mentioned it would be available in 128 or 256.
