The Ti4200 is usually faster than the fx5200, fx5200 ultra, fx5600 and sometimes the fx5600 ultra. I know this for a fact because I've owned all of them, my Ti4200 is overclocked to Ti4400 speeds and it's performance is excellent for the price I paid for it. :)

The only time the fx5600/5600 ultra is much faster than the ti4200 is with aa/af enabled.

Yup. 5600 U ia about the same (actually a tad slower) than the ti4200 with AA/AF off, but once you turn it on, you take much less of a performance hit with the 5600U. Anandtech did a benchmark on all this a little while back - go look through the video section.

Performance comparison. I'd probably go with a 4200 for brute speed (which is important, as the card is getting old, so turning on AA + AF may not be an option for smooth framerates).
