GeForce DDR and MSI K7 Pro (6195) - compatible??

I've read in a few places that there are compatibility issues between the two. Is this true?

I currently am using a 32MB Leadtek SD320 II TNT2 and I'm looking for an affordable performance boost. I was considering purchasing a GEFORCE DDR for now until I upgrade my MB/CPU.
