Man, this history of "XX GPU maker don't have driver problems" does not exist. If driver is having problems, just switch to a older driver.

Well, I'll say that the install on the newest driver did not go smoothly. I had a black screen that caused me to restart in safe mode, remove the drivers and install from an nVidia direct download. The usual update process through GeForce Experience did not go through normally.

Aside from that install issue I've had no other problems of note - but that install experience was a new problem that never came up in lots of other installs.

I like to be informed of especially buggy or problematic driver versions so I can just skip them.

Thanks save me some time investigating (had system reboot while using Chrome earlier today). I always seem to have do a fresh driver install with new Nvidia drivers which going by google search is mainly due to multi montiors, but is a pretty common config now so shouldn't be an issue.
