GeForce and XP Dual Display Woes Help

Hey fellas. I've got a Hercules GeForce3 Ti200 AGP and an AOpen GeForce2 MX400 PCI that I want to run dual display with in Windows XP. I've been trying and trying and I got it work once but it wouldn't play any games. I think it was screwed up anyway still. Does anyone know how to get these two working together? I've got the options in bios of boot with agp and set irq to video set. When I install the drivers the agp will work but the pci says it "can not start". (maybe becuase they are using the same drivers and ownership.use is involved?) I try to install seperate drivers for the second card but they overwrite the other drivers(both same names)
What do I do? Also 23.10/23.11 reference detenator drivers BSOD at startup for me everytime. I also installed the 4in1 and VIA AGP Drivers. I have an MSI K7T Turbo R.
I'm trying to get this working for Christmas as a present. Thanks fellas. I really appreciate any help.

Ok, well I got windows xp to work dual but now I can't get any game to run... civ III thats it. Wolfenstein crashes Pool of Radiance crashes. I don't thin either opengl or directx works. I'm using detenaor 2280. These drivers are the only ones that i can to work normally. Any ideas? Agp is primary both in bios and xp and the pci is secondary. Thanks.

Try to manually disable the secondary monitor in Display Properties before you start the games by unchecking "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor."

I always had to do that with Win98/ME but with XP it turns it off and on again when starting and exiting the game. But then my second adapter card is a totally different make and model, and doesn't have OpenGL drivers either.

I would have suspected some kind of conflict with both your cards being OpenGL capable but then Civ 3 isn't an OpenGL game is it?

yep. well I broke down and bought an ati rage 128 pci card from a friend. but it still crashes on any opengl games. I've tried the regular hercules drivers and the detenator 2280 drivers. Now I'm going to try the rest of them. Thanks for all the help.
