I just received an EVGA Geforce 9800GTX 512MB as a RMA replacement for my EVGA 8800GTS which died recently. I noticed that the 9800 supports outputting audio through the DVI port on the card. I'd like to use this to run audio and video through a single cable to my TV - right now I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable for video and 3.5mm to RCA cable to send the audio.

Does anyone know if the Intel D975XBX2 has an SPDIF audio header on the motherboard that I can connect to the 9800? I see some audio headers on the MB for the front port audio - can those be used to connect the video card?

It's become really annoying to switch over to the TV - every single time I want to switch from my monitor to my TV I now have to go into Nvidia Control Panel and change from "DVI (audio disabled)" to "DVI (audio enabled)" and then back to "DVI (audio disabled)" again in order to get sound to the TV through the analog RCA connection I mentioned above. Any help would be much appreciated!
