GeForce 8800GTX and new case?

Need to find a case that the very long 8800GTX cards fit into. A case that is not too large, since it should be possible to carry the computer between lan parties. Would be nice wiht 120 mm fan intake in the front, and a 120 mm fan exhaust in the back.

He currently has a Antec Super Lanboy, but measuring the length of a 8800GTX, it seems it is too long. The drivecage where his harddrives are located would be need to be removed, and that is not a good option.

It's big, semi-heavy, but I still think it travels well: Thermaltake Armor case. I have 2 now, love them both.

I also had the Antec Super Lanboy and recently purchased an 8800 gtx. Your measurements are spot on, there is no good way to fit it in there. I purchased an Antec Nine Hundred today to put the parts in b/c I have had them in a cheap Rosewill case and it wasn't working too well. I know that the Maximum PC forums and HardOCP forums both have good posts about which cases will hold which cards. The Maximum PC thread if fairly comprehensive and includes pictures. I'm on a different computer, but tomorrow I will post links to the threads.

Thank you for your replies.
Removing the drive cage is not really a good solution, since he has four harddrives and two optical drives that he wants to use. Kind of hard fitting all of that in the upper bays.... :)

The Rosewill R5601/5604 have 11" of card room and have been excellent buys from Newegg/ChiefValue recently (instant discounts). See my review here. And the Coolermaster Mystique 631 might fit (sorry, it doesn't according to one of the threads linked above) - very nice looking and all aluminum = light! Very inexpensive this weekend at SVC.com - see my thread in Hot Deals.

The NVNews thread says that the Antec SLK3000B fits "with millimeters to spare" and the Rosewill R6A series is the same case design as is the Thermaltake Tsunami (aluminum!).

Where are you located T101. I have a like new, Rosewill R5604 up for sale but it wouldn't be very practical to ship it.

We are from sweden, so there are nearly none of "sales-offerings" and rebates available here.

The joys of socialism - no competition...

The Rosewill cases I mentioned are the same as the Yeong Yang YY-5604 and YY-5601 etc. that are sold in Europe (something like 90 euros last I looked). Tom's Hardware did a review some time back.

Ok. Will look for them under those names. Thank you for your replies :)

Main problem here is the trend. People wants to buy very cheap cases and very cheap PSUs. They care less about quality than price. Which is why the cases and PSUs imported and sold are the cheaper ones.

I had to look hard to find a vendor that could sell me Enermax PSUs (Enermax Liberty 620W) instead of some el-cheapo-high-watt-low-price-garbage. Unfortunately, it seems I am unable to get the PSUs I really wanted anymore (OCZ Powerstream etc.).
