GeForce 8800 GTX cores

I remember back when we were speculating the 8 series, there was a pic of it and someone said that there may be two cores on it. Did the card turn out to have two cores? Also, can someone help find the pic?

No it doesn't have 2 GPU cores. It does have a separate I/O chip but not near the core.
